Janitor shot for refusing to give up wallet

STOCKTON, CA — A janitor was shot Monday night when he refused to turn over money to armed robbers, according to The Record.
The police department said two men approached a Dollar Tree Monday night as employees were closing.
The men walked away but then returned and approached a janitor, who was pressure-washing outside the store, the article noted.
When the janitor refused to hand over his money, one of the men shot him in the leg and took his wallet, the article stated.
