YELLVILLE, AR — A teacher and school resource officer joined forces to catch a custodian they suspected of stealing prescription medication from a student, according to the Baxter Bulletin.
Stacy Rinker, 44, a custodian at Yellville-Summit School, was arrested Thursday, charged with felony theft of a Schedule Two controlled substance and breaking or entering, the article noted.
According to the article, after a teacher noticed a student’s medication missing from a locked cabinet, a video camera was installed to monitor the cabinet.
The camera recorded Rinker entering the room, unlocking the cabinet and taking the medication, the article noted.
