Janitor accused of choking student

QUINCY, MA — A family is leveling accusations at an elementary school janitor that the choked their son, according to WFXT-TV.

Patrick Plante, 10, a fifth-grader at Montclair Elementary School, is claiming he was attacked by the school custodian, Mr. Jackson, the article stated.

According to the article, Patrick’s mother, Tara, said that he was in the cafeteria when he began choking on a meatball sandwich.

Allegedly, when the custodian grabbed her son by the back of the neck, his hands were so big that his fingers gripped the front of Patrick’s throat, the article noted.

The custodian in question has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into whether or not charges will be filed, the article added.
