EAGLE GROVE, IA — One custodian not only maintains the school, but friendships with the students as well, according to The Messenger.

Dick Ostercamp, a custodian for the Eagle Grove Elementary School, believes he wouldn''t have nearly as much fun at work if it wasn''t for the students around him, the article stated.

According to the article, Ostercamp is in charge of the Dog Pound located in one of the kindergarten classes.

The Dog Pound is a collection of stuffed dogs that Ostercamp periodically, and secretly, poses in cute positions and scenes, the article noted.

A few students were certain Ostercamp was behind the Dog Pound fun and began staying in at recess to watch the Dog Pound to catch him, the article added.

"I wanted to put fishline on the paws and move them but I was afraid that would put them over the edge," said Ostercamp.
