LINCOLNWOOD, IL — In partnership with AmeriCares and Gifts In Kind International (GIK), the ISSA Foundation is asking all ISSA members to consider helping the victims whose lives have been stricken in the Southern United States, according to a press release.
AmeriCares is working to supply health care providers with the medicines they need to restock for patients who have lost their homes in Tuscaloosa, Cullman and Birmingham — areas which endured massive destruction, the release stated.
According to the release, AmeriCares has stressed that it is in desperate need of monetary donations, as the agency is not yet certain what product donations will be needed to assist the tornado victims.
The ISSA Foundation is also working with GIK, the world''s leading nonprofit in product philanthropy and one of the largest nonprofits in the United States, and is cautiously working through its emergency relief network to assess the appropriate action and response, the release noted.
To make a monetary donation, download a contribution form and forward it to Tracy Weber.
To make a product donation, download the product donation agreement or contact Doyle Delph.
