WASHINGTON — The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) is offering a free, one-hour webinar to educators and health professionals interested in the latest information on raising awareness about handwashing, according to a press release.
The event will take place Monday October 3, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), the release stated.
"In just 60 minutes, we will share up-to-date information about handwashing that will help others raise the awareness of the importance of hand hygiene in homes, schools, communities and the workplace," said Nancy Bock, ACI vice president of consumer education and one of the featured speakers.
"Our experts will share practical information about the science and benefits of handwashing, valuable resources, ways to get involved in Global Handwashing Day on October 15, and how to earn a cash award for school handwashing programs in conjunction with our Healthy Schools, Healthy People, It''s a SNAP program," Bock added.
