SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Interlink Supply
recently hosted the third session of its "Planning to Win: The Business of Restoration" Symposium just outside of Las Vegas, NV, according to a press release.
The 5-day training program was extremely well received by the restorers that attended, as speakers Dan Bernazzani, Brent Bowthorpe, Pat Harmon, John Hirth, Timothy Miller and Dick Wagner gave those in attendance a wealth of industry-specific information that cannot be gained anywhere else, the release stated.
According to the article, the restorers that attended acknowledged that their individual markets are changing dramatically and the old methods they have depended on to grow their restoration businesses are not working as well as they previously have.
"Before, we found ourselves in a rut and a position where we couldn''t move forward. Things we''re going okay, but we weren''t really satisfied with our position," said Chris Empey of R&E Cleaning and Restoration
in Riverton, UT.
"We needed some new ideas for marketing. We needed new ways to improve our cash flow and our ability to work with and relate to the people that we serve: Our customers and clients," Empey added.
The symposium will only meet once more in 2010 at the Reets Drying Academy
just outside of Atlanta in late August, the release noted.
