PORTLAND, OR — Intellibot Robotics has moved its headquarters to Portland, Oregon, according to a press release.
Previously based in Richmond, Virginia, Intellibot will maintain its manufacturing and engineering operations in Virginia, the release stated.
According to the release, with a focus on several industries, including schools, hospitals, big box retailers and hospitality, Intellibot is expanding its distribution throughout the U.S.
The company was also recognized at this year''s RoboBusiness Leadership Summit, held November 2-3 in Boston, with the receipt of a ROBIE Award, with the HydroBot named as one of the most noteworthy robotic products of 2011, the release noted.
"This is an exciting time for Intellibot. The Portland move supports our corporate growth initiatives, and the receipt of the ROBIE further validates the future of robotics in the floor care industry," said Erick Frack, acting president of Intellibot.
