IESO elects Board of Directors and Consensus Body officers

ROCKVILLE, MD — The Indoor Environmental Standards Organization (IESO) recently held officer elections for its Board of Directors and Consensus Body, according to a press release.
According to the release, the IESO officer elections took place on March 5, 2010, in conjunction with the Indoor Air Quality Association''s (IAQA) 13th Annual Meeting at the Embassy Suites Downtown in Tampa, Florida.
Elected as officers were: Claudius Carnegie of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, president; Steven R. Canter of CPI Consulting Inc., vice president; and Chris Gusick of Adaptive Environmental Consulting LLC, treasurer, the release stated.
Other members of the IESO Board of Directors include: Dr. Robert Brandys of Occupational & Environmental Health Consulting, Peter Sierck of Environmental Testing & Technology Inc., Irv Kraut of JVI Inspections LLC, and Dr. Kenneth Thornburgh of the American Environmental Group Inc., the release noted.
At a recent meeting of the IESO Standards Development Committee (SDC) Consensus Body, Secretariat Kristy M. Lee proposed Bradley Harr of Summit Environmental Inc. to serve as the 2010-11 Consensus Body chair and Wei Tang of QLab to serve as vice chair; both were elected unanimously, the release added.
