WESTERVILLE, OH — The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) and the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) have announced an educational partnership to disseminate information designed to help the cleaning industry reduce the incidences of slips and falls, according to a press release.
NFSI will assist IEHA in producing educational materials, including additions to IEHA''s Safety and Security Module integral to the Technical and Administrative portion of IEHA''s Professional Education Credentialing Program (PECP), the release stated.
According to the release, the program will feature articles by NFSI''s President Russell Kendzior published in Executive Housekeeping Today magazine (with CEU credits) and will promote NFSI/IEHA classes (onsite and virtual) on safety training at the IEHA Chapter level nationwide.
"We are excited to play a leadership role in bringing this safety-related information both to our members and the cleaning industry at large," said Beth Risinger, chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director of IEHA.
"We are confident that this unique body of information, including support of NFSI''s walkway safety auditing program, will make a difference in the safety of public environments and people everywhere," Risinger added.
