IAQA Partners with HUD for 2011 Conference
The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) is partnering with HUD, other federal agencies, and numerous non-profit associations for 2011 National Healthy Homes Conference. The conference is a federally-sponsored event bringing together a wide range of sectors to better coordinate efforts in making housing healthy, safe, and environmentally sustainable.
The conference is hosted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmentā€™s Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control, in partnership with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Together the agencies are working to help America create and sustain healthy homes and communities for everyone. IAQA is one of 18 prestigious organizations chosen to work in cooperation with these agencies on the Conference Advisory Committee.
Persons interested in giving presentations may submit abstracts until the deadline of September 30, 2010. For conference information, visit http://www.healthyhomesconference.org. For information about IAQA, visit www.iaqa.org.
