Hospitality 'superstars' recognized

ARLINGTON, VA — Businesses and hospitality workers were recognized for their exceptional service by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce at the 2010 Arlington Hospitality Awards, according to the Sun Gazette.

According to the story, the dozens of winners received breakfast, certificates and lapel pins designating them as Arlington Hospitality Superstars and eight people received Legendary Service Awards, sponsored by Marymount University and renamed in honor of the late Holiday Inn National Airport General Manager Bob Klein.

Greg Raines, general manager of the Holiday Inn Rosslyn and chairman of the Arlington Chamber Hotel General Managers Committee, said: "Thank you to each and every one of you for all that you do to make Arlington''s hospitality industry, and Arlington in general, great."

Those receiving Legendary Service Awards included Marie Baptiste, Philip Chao, Ching Chao, Lewis Christian, Cheryl Freshly, Fekadu Kitila, Sajawal Khan and Nona Davis, the story stated.

Over fifty employees from area hotels were also awarded, the story added.
