GREENVILLE, DE - Jody Moore, a woman hired to clean a home, is being sought by police after she allegedly stole and pawned a set of flatware valued at $3,000, according to The News Journal.
Police learned last week that Moore, 40, was a suspect after the 65-year-old victim, whose name was not released, noticed that her antique silver sterling pieces and Tiffany sterling silver flatware was missing.
Apparently, Moore sold the goods to a local pawn shop on September 1, according to an investigation by county police officer Karen Camp.
Most of the items were recovered and returned to the victim, the article reported.
Moore''s location is unknown and anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333 or visit www.nccpd.com. Tips can also be texted to 847411. Text "NCCPD," followed by your tip.
