Hill & Markes Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Packer as business development specialist for the Northeast distributor, according to a

Packer, a third-generation family member with Hill & Markes who worked in a variety of part-time roles with the company during high school, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in policy studies from
Syracuse University and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American University, the story stated.
Packer''s new position as business development specialist
was developed as a strategic move for Hill & Markes to expand their market presence, the story noted.
Most recently, Packer managed operations, human resources and marketing for a
Potbelly Sandwich Works unit in
Washington, the story added.

ince graduation, Packer served as a congressional aide for a representative from Ohio, oversaw a fundraising program for United States Senators and managed the fundraising operation of a leading legal think tank.
