BOISE, ID — The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) and the National Education Association''s Health Information Network (NEA HIN) have formed an educational partnership to disseminate information designed to foster healthier indoor environments in schools across the country, according to a press release.
HFI and NEA HIN will consult together and make available well-vetted information, as well as collaborate on press releases to demonstrate both organizations'' commitment to healthier schools and NEA-member workers, the release stated.
"We are pleased to be partnering with the Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) in our shared mission to help make schools healthier," said Jerry Newberry, executive director for NEA HIN.
"Together with HFI, we will continue advancing the goal of healthier, safer and more productive school environments for students by providing ongoing education for NEA members, the educational community and consumers," Newberry added.
