While we promise to continue to deliver dynamic editorial that meets the needs of our readers, the CMM staff — thanks to reader feedback — have identified several areas to target for 2008.
Just the facts
In particular, readers will be able to find special departments and columns that are focused on addressing specific industry and end user concerns.
For example, “Fact-based Management” is a new column by Vince Elliot that focuses on best practices identified through field research.
“I believe that the key to improving the odds of making better management decisions lies in our ability to distinguish between information based on assumptions and opinion and that based on facts,” notes Elliot on page 12.
Hot market report
Also, new for 2008, “Hot Market Survey Report” will be featured in every issue.
In our first survey and article series, we are targeting restroom care.
We have polled our readers about their concerns when handling their facility’s restrooms.
Several of these concerns and findings are expressed on page 18 and, over the next few months, we will continue to explore different areas and reader concerns in restroom care.
Also new in 2008
The CM B2B Trade Group is pleased to welcome a new addition to its editorial staff; Jackie Singer is now our assistant editor.
In her new role, Jackie will be responsible for helping to guide two NTP Media industry-leading publications — CM/Cleaning & Maintenance Management® and CM/Cleanfax®.
Jackie brings experience to the group from another NTP Media publication, Professional Carwashing & Detailing®, where she recently completed an internship.
In addition to copy editing for PC&D, Jackie was also involved in writing and coordinating editorial efforts within the group.
We are excited to have Jackie onboard in this new capacity.
These are some of the changes we have made in recent months to deliver a superior editorial package to our readers.
In coming months, we will be adding a few more additions to our product, but our goal remains the same — to provide the largest and most diverse group of end users in the professional cleaning industry with solutions for the critical industry issues they face.
