According to the release, the website will feature information on mold, moisture and indoor air quality, as well as an enhanced GREENGUARD Product Guide? featuring products that are mold-resistant and can help building owners own sustainability credits.
GEI Executive Director Henning Bloech said: "Taking the appropriate steps to prevent mold growth before it occurs is critical for builders and owners — from both a health and a financial perspective. GREENGUARD''s new and improved website — and, in particular, its Builders and Owners section — makes understanding and executing those steps easier than ever."
The website will also include a "Find Certified and Registered Buildings" section, showcasing GREENGUARD Building Construction? Certified and registered buildings, as well as improved site navigability and a comprehensive frequently asked questions (FAQ) section, the release stated.
GEI is an industry-independent, third-party, not-for-profit organization that aims reduce people''s exposure to chemicals and other indoor pollutants, and its certification program uses a standard recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the release added.
