HOUSTON — The Green Business Bureau (GBB) announced today that it has published the second entry in its Guest Blogger Series. Authored by international intellectual property (IP) specialist George Snyder, of the law firm Troutman Sanders, and titled "Green Tech IP: Know the Lay of the Land," the entry discusses green tech, green tech IP and their importance in everyday business decisions, according to a press release.
Snyder''s experience includes litigation on behalf of patent and trademark owners, defense of alleged infringers, as well as major studies undertaken to "clear" the introduction of new products, services and brand names into the marketplace and IP-related transactional work, the release stated.
"As the leading green business certification organization on the market, we are thrilled to be able to continually offer small- and medium-sized businesses valuable information that helps them on their path to going green," said Marcos Cordero, LEED Accredited Professional (AP), chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of GBB.
Over the coming weeks, Snyder will be authoring additional blog posts on IP in the green tech field, the release noted.
