Georgia-Pacific's enMotion awarded for marketing innovation

ATLANTAGeorgia-Pacific Professional has received the Best Marketing Innovation of the Decade award for its enMotion brand of touchless dispensers, according to Infection Control Today.

According to the story, the award was presented by the Georgia State University''s Robinson College of Business and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Georgia-Pacific beat out other former Marketing Award for Excellence (MAX) winners such as UPS, AirTran Airways and InterfaceFLOR Carpets to receive the recognition honoring product innovation, great marketing and long-term success within their industry, the story stated.

Bill Sleeper, president of Georgia-Pacific Professional, said: "We are honored to receive this award because it recognizes the fact that we have a great product brand in enMotion that has truly made an impact in the marketplace. Through the growth we''ve experienced, we know that our customers and consumers recognize the benefits of our enMotion touchless dispensers – better public health and wellness, reduced waste and enhanced image."

The enMotion dispenser is part of Georgia-Pacific''s Green by Design™ program, designating it as a product that contributes to source reduction and helps customers achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, the story noted.

The winner of the award was selected by the Georgia State University Marketing Round Table, consisting of senior executives from Atlanta''s top companies, the story added.
