Friday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: My company is looking at certification in mold remediaiton.
Do you know where I can go to have our guys certified in this? Do you know if this is on a state by state basis or if it is nationwide?
The answer:
There are many companies, associations and groups that offer mold and indoor air quality (IAQ) training and certification programs. Being as that mold remediation is relatively new field, there is no one recognized national standard as to quality, value and recognition of training programs or certification or for mold remediation procedures.
