ST. LOUIS, MO — St. Louis-based Fish Window Cleaning again has been named to Franchise Business Review''s 2010 Franchise Satisfaction Awards list. The company was ranked 43rd among the Top 50 Large Systems franchise organizations and was among the five top winners in the Services category. Winners were selected based on studies of over 500 leading franchise brands representing over 100,000 franchisees and satisfaction surveys completed by franchisees of these organizations.
This is just one of several awards presented to the company since October, when it was named one of 10 St. Louis area companies to receive the Better Business Bureau TORCH Award for business ethics and customer satisfaction. Entrepreneur Magazine ranked Fish Window Cleaning #182 on the 2010 Franchise 500 list, and #1 in its category. AllBusiness AllStar ranked the company #285 on its 2010 Franchise 300 list and #19 for financial health. GI Jobs Magazine ranked Fish Window Cleaning in the top 10% of all franchises and named it as a 2010 Military Friendly Franchise.
Fish Window Cleaning Inc. was founded by Mike Merrick in January, 1978 when he was downsized from his banking job. Merrick began franchising his business model in 1998.
