FEA Offering Executive Orders Workshop
Fairfax, VA - Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. will be offering a one-day workshop on How to Operate More Efficiently While Complying with Executive Orders on March 3, 2011 at their Fairfax office location. This workshop will introduce participants to the Executive Orders and related existing statutes, their goals, and basic requirements. It will directly address Executive Orders 13423 and 13514 as well as the requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Participants will leave the workshop with the tools necessary to outline both their individual and facility needs to meet the Executive Order requirements and understand how facility operations can impact an organization or an agency’s overall sustainability goals.
In May 2010, FEA became a U.S. Green Building Council Education Provider (USGBC EP), and this course was approved by USGBC, allowing participants that take this course to be eligible for 8 Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) continuing education hours which are needed to maintain the LEED Accredited Professional and Green Associate designations.
