DALTON, GA — On June 6-7, Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Service (FCITS) held an expo at the Holiday Inn in Dalton, according to a press release.
The expo was attended by 49 FCITS-certified flooring inspectors from across North America, the release stated.
According to the release, speakers at the expo included John Granger from Tandus Technologies; Len Perkins, vice president of Impax Technology, the maker of Cool Glide carpet seaming system; and Werner Braun, president of the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI).
Attendees were also certified to inspect IVC sheet vinyl with a class given by Randy Hoefler, Kevin Flannigan and Jim Rottcher, the release noted.
The attendees were awarded a Commercial Flooring Inspector Certificate, following a class given by Ken Downey, FCITS instructor, and Steve Noland, the release added.
