BALTIMORE — Performance management consulting firm Elliott Affiliates Ltd. has been granted a secondary license to the Integrated Cleaning and Measurement (ICM) open-source platform, building on a 2008 primary licensing of the program to the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), according to a press release.
According to the release, Elliot Affiliates will now have the right to use the ICM name and other intellectual property, incorporate ICM principles into its training and client materials and continue to develop the ICM model with IEHA.
Elliott Affiliates is also planning to utilize data collected from field measurements to develop benchmarks for process improvement through the ICM-Measurement Assistance Program (ICM-MAP), the release stated.
Vince Elliott, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Elliott Affiliates, said: "I see four fundamental metrics that initially need to be measured, tracked and managed: Occupant satisfaction; image or appearance of the facility; biological contamination issues based on adenosine triphosphate (ATP) count; and particulate count. By drilling down into the root cause, you can actually change the way the work is done and constantly improve it."
Elliott will also help people who desire more thorough assistance when developing their own cleaning and measurement protocols, the release added.
