OTTAWA, ON, Canada – EcoLogo is proud to announce the certification of a broad selection of Georgia-Pacific Professional’s tissue, towel and napkin products, according to a press release.
To be awarded EcoLogo certification for its tissue, towel and napkin products, Georgia-Pacific Professional had to meet stringent criteria addressing environmental issues such as: Recycled content, energy consumption, aquatic toxicity, emissions and waste, the release stated.
Scot Case, executive director of the EcoLogo Program, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Georgia-Pacific Professional into the EcoLogo Program. In being awarded EcoLogo certification, Georgia-Pacific Professional has decided to have its long-time commitment to environmentally-preferable products recognized by a credible, third party."
