Ecolab profits in the fourth quarter were $115.8 million, or 48 cents per share, and the profits rose to 55 cents per share when excluding one-time items, the story stated.
The company expects to earn between $2.17 and $2.25 per share in 2010, while analysts expect $2.26 per share, the story added.
