Cousino Harris To Hold Charity Golf Outing
Wood Dale, IL - Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, today announced that DKI Member, Cousino Harris Disaster Kleenup, will hold their annual charity golf outing on Monday, August 16, 2010. The event will take place at Brandywine Country Club in Maumee, OH with a continental breakfast beginning at 7:00 AM, followed by golf and a steak and chicken luncheon.
The golf outing this year will benefit the Lake Kids Relief Fund. The fund was started by Diane Witt and provides support to any child affected by the tornado that tore through Millbury and Wood Counties in Ohio on June 6, 2010. The funds will be used for the children for recreation, leisure and therapeutic value for the next year while their parents are rebuilding their homes and lives.
The entire Lake High School golf team will be participating and Shelly Konz, Business Development for Cousino Harris and the golf chairman, will be escorted by one of the children who was directly affected by the tornado.
Lake Superintendent Jim Witt said that the fund has a simple goal, to make it possible for Lake District students, so many of whose families lost their homes and possessions when the tornadoes struck, to have as normal a summer as possible.
There are a variety of sponsorships available for the event, as well as a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, with the proceeds benefitting the Lake Kids Relief Fund.
Michael Cousino, president of Cousino Harris Disaster Kleenup, said, “In these tough times we all tend to struggle, however, there are always those who are less fortunate and we want to do our part to help the community.”
Cousino Harris Disaster Kleenup has provided insurance restoration services in the Ohio marketplace since 1970 and has been a DKI Member since 1996.
