WOOD DALE, IL — Disaster Kleenup International Inc. announced that DKI member Cousino Harris Disaster Kleenup will hold their annual charity golf outing on Monday, August 16, 2010, according to a press release.
The event will take place at Brandywine Country Club in Maumee, Ohio, with a continental breakfast beginning at 7:00 a.m., followed by golf and a steak and chicken luncheon, the release noted.
The golf outing this year will benefit the Lake Kids Relief Fund, which was started by Diane Witt and provides support to any child affected by the tornado that tore through Millbury and Wood Counties in Ohio on June 6, 2010, the release stated.
According to the release, the fund has a simple goal: To make it possible for Lake District students, so many of whose families lost their homes and possessions when the tornadoes struck, to have as normal a summer as possible.
"In these tough times, we all tend to struggle; however, there are always those who are less fortunate and we want to do our part to help the community," said Michael Cousino, president of Cousino Harris Disaster Kleenup.
