UTICA, NY — A woman employed by a building service contractor to clean the Oneida County Courthouse will have to appear in court to face larceny charges, according to WSYR-TV.
Kristyne Marks was arrested and charged with petty larceny after she gave authorities a statement detailing some of the items she had taken, the story stated.
Since September, things such as candy, small trinkets from desks, office supplies and money have been reported missing from the courthouse, the story noted.
Other cleaning staff within the building assisted deputies by providing information about other items that Marks allegedly stole, the story added.
