CHICO, CA — A Chico State University custodian will hit the road in pursuit of his dream to be a professional animator, according to The Orion.

For the past five years, custodian Glenn Simmons has spent the majority of his time cleaning up after students, but he has another talent, the article stated.

According to the article, in his spare time, Simmons enjoys sketching, aspiring to be a professional animator, studying at both California State University at Long Beach and California State University at Fullerton.

This summer, Simmons will show his art to the world for the first time when he attends WonderCon, a popular culture convention likened to Comic-Con, the article noted.

Simmons hopes to showcase his work at Artists'' Alley, a section of the convention where professional animators can meet and network, the article added.
