LAS CRUCES, NM — J.J. Sambrano''s afternoons and evenings belong to Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS), where he works as a custodian; mornings belong to his passion, according to the Las Cruces Sun-News.

Sambrano, 25, earns a living as part of the custodial crew at the LCPS administration building, the article stated.

According to the article, he spends his mornings at C.D. Customs with his stepfather restoring classic cars to their glory days.

"I''ve always enjoyed cars, and being able to work on them is something I love to do to see the outcome from a car that was parked in the weeds to where you go to car shows and win trophies. It''s an art," said Sambrano.

"I enjoy doing this in the morning. That way, when I retire from the schools, I already have a trade I''m learning to do. I''ll have a full-time job building cars. By then, I''ll have 25 to 30 years of building cars experience. I will most definitely pass that on to my son," Sambrano added.
