Custodian rescued from fall

BURLEY, ID — A Burley High School custodian fell 20 feet from a roof while seal coating, according to The Voice of Mini Cassia.

Custodial assistant Kim Hurst was working on the roof of the school gymnasium when his foot was caught in a hose, causing him to trip backward, the article stated.

According to the article, it took emergency personnel nearly two hours to rescue Hurst, who was strapped into a backboard due to the nature of his injuries.

Hurst was taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries and his condition is currently unknown, the article noted.
