Custodian honored for saving a student's life

CONWAY, AR — Tim Boyd, Sr., responsible for saving a student''s life in November, has been publically named a hero, according to KATV-TV.

Boyd, a Bob Courtway Middle School custodian, was honored with a surprise assembly coordinated by Principal Karen Lasker, the article stated.

According to the article, Boyd was presented the Conway Fire Department Heroism Award by Conway Fire Department Chief Bart Castleberry.

Back in November, Boyd was responsible for saving a student who had been choking in the school cafeteria, the article noted.
