BALTIMORE — A familiar face in Clarksville Middle School is retiring after 28 years, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Alice Bell, 62, began working as a custodian at Centennial High School before being placed in Clarksville in 1997, the article stated.
According to the article, Bell''s typical day has been a 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. shift doing anything and everything asked of her.
In her retirement, Bell plans on spending more time with her grandson and travelling, the article noted.
"My sister-in-law and I, we go on cruises. They''re so much fun. I''ve been everywhere on a cruise. We''ve been every place," said Bell.
"I don''t care where they go, I just love it. You get waited on. You don''t have to get up and fix anything and they wait on you, hand and foot. You can get too used to it," Bell added.
