CATONSVILLE, MD — Longtime custodian is honored by students, parents and staff for being a formidable presence in their lives, according to the Catonsville Patch.
Simply saying the name of James Perry could put an end to bathroom vandals and their pranks, who often feel bad for giving their beloved custodian more work, the article stated.
According to the article, on Wednesday, Perry, who has no plans to retire, was honored for his service to Catonsville High School by the community.
Perry was given several gifts, including tickets to four Baltimore Ravens home games, as well as a gift certificate to his regular spot, Taneytown Deli, the article noted.
"I didn''t want to cry. I was almost in tears," said Perry, who was caught off guard by the ceremony.
