Custodian arrested for Capitol thefts

RICHMOND, VA — A state Capitol custodian has been arrested after being charged with stealing iPads from four state Senate offices, according to the Washington Post.

Tyrone Darrick Thomas, 30, faces three counts of grand larceny, the article stated.

According to the article, the thefts occurred in February and March from the offices of Republican Senators Jill Holtzman Vogel of Fauquier, Steve Martin of Chesterfield, Jeff McWaters of Virginia Beach and Richard Stuart of Stafford.

Thomas has been banned from the Capitol complex, the article noted.
