VINCENNES, IN — The Vincennes Community School Corporation will look to cut their budget by outsourcing custodial services, according to The Courier-Journal.

The school district has awarded Sodexo Inc. with a contract to handle custodial and maintenance services and to care for the grounds of the district, the article stated.

According to Assistant Superintendent Greg Parsley, the district is looking to cut nearly $1.2 million from its budget.

Outsourcing could annually save the district about $125,000, the article noted.
