Shelby, N.C. – Controlled Release Technologies, Inc. (CRT), a leading manufacturer of over 15 HVAC maintenance products and chemicals, recently donated two of their products to Salvageable Nuggets, Inc.
Salvageable Nuggets is a non-profit corporation located in Denton, T.X., that is dedicated to empowering students in grades K-12. They achieve this by providing students with educational resources to determine their strengths, gifts, talents and interests, then exposing them to various occupations relevant to their individual strengths and interests. In this instance, students were exposed to elements of a career in HVAC maintenance and repair.
“We appreciate CRT’s efforts in helping to make a difference in the lives of students and their future professional contributions and endeavors,” said Richard Lister, Salvageable Nuggets founder and president.
The products donated by CRT included Instant Powder Kegs and First Strike Micro Coat. Instant Powder Kegs is a highly concentrated cleaning powder, that quickly and conveniently cleans and removes efficiency-hindering buildup from HVAC coils. First Strike Micro Coat is a water-based annual coating, that protects against redundant labor and costs by reducing recurrent deposit buildup on HVAC evaporator coils.
“We are excited to be able to donate to such a worthy cause, one that empowers the community and educates future professionals regarding proper HVAC maintenance,” said Trish Burkhart, CRT executive director.
Since 1985, Controlled Release Technologies, Inc. has helped facility managers and engineers solve problems associated with HVAC system maintenance. They are dedicated to not only providing superb service, but also continuous HVAC education. Their numerous maintenance and indoor-air-quality products include PanGuard, First Strike Micro Coat, Instant Powder Kegs and Pancrete.
