PRAIRIEVILLE, LA — Xtreme Cleaners, a crime-scene cleaning company, will be featured on the TLC show "Ultimate Cleaners" on April 12, according to The Daily Reveille.

Larry Douglas, a former police officer from New England, founded the company to help families after tragic events have taken place in their homes, the article noted.

Douglas said the company typically cleans up after homicide and suicide incidents, but also handles methamphetamine labs, crack houses, hoarder homes and animal over-runs, the article stated.

According to the article, suicide is an incident the company most commonly deals with.

"We are extremely discreet and clean it up so the family doesn''t have to deal with the trauma," said Douglas.

For the TLC show, Xtreme Cleaners will take on a home hit by Hurricane Katrina and a home nearly destroyed by hoarders, the article added.
