DALTON, GA — The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) has named Mike Zoellner, vice president of marketing services for Mohawk Industries Inc., the chairman of the Market Issues Committee, according to The Daily Citizen.
Zoellner, who has more than 25 years of experience in the flooring industry, has been a member of the committee for the last five years and has spent the last two as its vice chairman, the story stated.
Werner Braun, CRI president, said: "Mike has been a valuable asset to our market issues committee for the last several years and we’re excited about the leadership and experience he brings to the committee as its new chair. The committee has had exceptional leadership down through the years and we believe Mike will only add to that outstanding legacy. We look forward to what Mike brings to the table as we continue to move our industry forward in these trying economic times and knowing what an important role our marketing committee plays."
In his current role with Mohawk Industries, Zoellner oversees a spectrum of marketing, retailer training and business development functions, the story noted.
