Able Contractors, a Brush Prairie, Washington-based company, violated four asbestos laws since 2001 and paid $20,925 in fines last month, the release stated.
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality lacks the jurisdiction to ban Able Contractors from operating in the state of Washington, but is well-within its boundaries to keep the company from operating within Oregon borders, the release noted.
Able Contractors has until April 26 to appeal the proposed revocation of its license, the release added.
