LAS VEGAS — The educational experiences available at the 2009 Connections Convention & Trade Show from September 9 through 11 at the Las Vegas Hilton have been announced, according to a press release.
According to the release, Connections is calling this "The Experience" and it is an opportunity to bring both classroom and hands-on programs to attendees with six stations for live demonstrations.
A full rug cleaning operation will be setup in Station One by Dusty Roberts from Luv-a-Rug Services and Clark Lancaster of Orbitec Solutions; a carpet cleaning operation sponsored by Cleanco Truckmounts will be setup in Station Two using both commercial and residential carpet products, the release stated.
At Station three, a team of experts sponsored by U.S. Products and HydraMaster Corporation will demonstrate and teach the best practices and demonstrate tools for wet and dry cleaning upholstered fabrics; Connections will construct a huge structure in Station four to demonstrate expert water damage restoration following the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) S500 Standards sponsored by sponsored by Thermal Energy System (TES), Jon-Don Inc., Flood Damage Inc. and Dri-Eaz Products Inc., the release noted.
A contents restoration area will be setup by Fireline Systems Inc. at Station Five to demonstrate in-plant cleaning of smoke damage and other items that need restoration following a disaster; Station Six will feature Injectidry Systems Inc. and will have both wall and floor components set up and new and inventive drying systems will be demonstrated to show techniques for drying the structure without having to replace components, the release added.
