LAS VEGASThe Connections Convention and Trade Show is teaming up with Home Depot to build a special structure to flood, monitor and dry during the live demonstration portion of the event.
In addition, Connections has announced a special $69 room rate at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, including an incentive package.

Connections will construct a large structure (house) in Station 4, with the help of Home Depot, to demonstrate expert water damage restoration following the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) S500 Standards.
IICRC approved instructors will be on hand to teach the latest techniques in water damage restoration.
The goal is to flood the structure on the first day in the Hilton Center, and then extract the water, monitor the process and dry the structure during the next two days of the event using a variety of systems and methods to teach attendees how to properly use monitoring devices, record the data and change the drying procedures as needed depending on what the data tells you.
Xactware Solutions Inc., Moisture Mapper International Inc., DryAdvise and Dri-Eaz Products Inc. will be on hand showing their estimating and monitoring systems on screens while the demos are ongoing.
