Clorox donates for police laptops

OAKLAND, CA — Clorox has made a sizeable donation to the Oakland police department to help with their communication problems, according to KGO-TV.

Clorox, which is based out of Oakland, has donated $500,000 to buy new laptop computers for the police department''s cars, the article stated.

According to the article, the department currently has only six working laptops.

The additional equipment will help officers who have been suffering from repeated and dangerous failures of their radio systems, the article noted.
