Cleaning lady turns over found cash

GRANADA, SPAIN — A bus station cleaning lady turned over the $18,000 she found on the back of a bus to police, according to the United Press International.

While cleaning one of the buses, Palmira Diaz, 52, found a handbag that contained a large amount of cash, the article stated.

According to the article, Diaz informed her supervisor, who called a security guard to accompany the pair to the National Police station in the bus terminal.

The money, claimed by a Chinese man and his wife, was a deposit for a business the couple was purchasing in the city, the article noted.
