WASHINGTON — Nancy Bock, senior vice president of meetings and education at the American Cleaning Institute (ACI), has been elected to the board of directors of Cleaning For A Reason, according to a press release.
Cleaning For A Reason provides free residential cleaning services to women undergoing treatment for cancer; to date, more 11,000 cancer patients have been served, the release stated.
"Nancy Bock is one of those people that can spot and seize a great opportunity and then follow through with a plan of action," said Debbie Sardone, president and founder of Cleaning For A Reason.
"Her passion for helping others and her smart business savvy make her a perfect fit for our organization. As our 2012 secretary, she brings a wealth of knowledge and nonprofit experience that has already proven to benefit Cleaning For A Reason," Sardone added.
According to the release, in her current role at ACI, Bock leads the trade association''s consumer education and outreach programs and builds partnerships with organizations committed to improving lives.
"I am honored to serve on the board of Cleaning For A Reason because cleaning really does matter. A clean home environment is important. It is even more important to women with cancer," said Bock.
