MANATEE, FL — One of two private firms hired by the Manatee School District to take over custodial services at four schools has been fired due to substandard service, according to the Bradenton Herald.
Georgia-based American Facilities Services took over custodian duties at three Manatee schools on February 15, the article stated.
According to the article, reports immediately circulated that the company was not performing up to standards.
By February 24, the company''s cleaning scope had been reduced to just one school; on Tuesday, it was decided to remove the company completely, the article noted.
