CHICAGO — Cintas Corporation has opened submissions for its 2011 Wear the Care™ Contest, according to a press release.
In its third year, the contest offers the winning facility an opportunity to transform their image with a $10,000 apparel makeover from Cintas, the release noted.
"Health care staff image is a critical component of patient satisfaction," said John Savage, director of health care marketing for Cintas.
"The Wear the Care Contest offers health care facilities an opportunity to update their image while giving patients the comfort of easily identifying staff," Savage added.
In addition to the apparel makeover, the grand prizewinner will receive a $1,000 donation to the facility''s foundation in the entrant''s name, an image seminar for health care staff conducted by Roberta Hughes, president of Avidere LLC, and an expert Cintas image consultation, the release stated.
To enter the 2011 Wear the Care contest, health care professionals must submit details of why they feel their department staff needs a new apparel program, the impact they anticipate it will have on patient satisfaction and a photo of current apparel: Entries must be received by December 31, 2010, the release added.
