CINCINNATI — Cintas Corporation and Carhartt have announced a "toughest of the tough" contest to coincide with its partnership to offer Carhartt garments for the first time in a uniform rental program, according to a press release.
According to the release, the contest will focus on identifying members of the workforce embody the Carhartt and Cintas spirit, with three finalists announced each quarter and all 12 finalists up for two grand prizes of either a weekend duck hunt trip designed by sponsor Ducks Unlimited® or a trip to the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series in 2011.
Chuck Helmes, director of garment strategy at Cintas Corporation, said: "This contest is really a reflection of our companies. Both Carhartt and Cintas are known for providing tough products and dependable service, and we want to celebrate workers who reflect those same characteristics."
Those interested in the contest can register online to submit a short essay and a photograph demonstrating what makes them tough and resilient, the release stated.
Steve Carter, vice president of corporate sales for Carhartt, said: "Our customers work hard and play hard, and these are two fabulous prizes that we look forward to presenting to our top two finalists."
At the end of the year, all 12 finalists will be featured on the contest website and the public will vote for the winners, the release added.
