DAVIE, FL — Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will host a no-cost Chemical Free Cleaning Expo on Tuesday, February 21 in the Don Taft University Center Arena on the main campus located in Davie, Florida, according to a press release.
Event organizers contend that approximately six million pounds of artificial cleaning chemicals are dumped into the environment annually and that advances in the cleaning industry are making it possible to thoroughly sanitize commercial, institutional and residential buildings without resorting to potentially toxic cleaning chemicals, the release stated.
According to the release, presented by NSU and the Chemical Free Cleaning Network, members of the cleaning industry, contractors, facilities and real estate managers and interested members of the general public will hear from industry professionals and those for whom chemical-free environments are a must for their student population.
Throughout the Chemical Free Cleaning Expo, guests will find emerging and available technologies promoting solutions to environmental problems, ideas on how to green your world by saving energy, reducing pollution, recycling, healthy living and using non-artificial chemical cleaning products, the release noted.
